Once you book your carts the friendly Platinum Rentals team will arrange the delivery and pickup of your carts. Please note things do sometimes go wrong such as delays in traffic, but we will endeavor to get your carts to you on time as best we can.
Its very important that the carts are charged over night to ensure the batteries are fully charged for the next day. The charging cord can be found under the front seat. Simply plug this into a standard powerpoint. Please check out the video at the bottom of this page for more information.
Damages Must Be Paid For
Please treat our carts with care, they are not toys and we do find they often come back from events with damage, which causes delays for other hirers during the busy Summer season. Any damage incurred will be charged to the hirer as per the Terms and Conditions. A tip for our hirers is to assign a dedicated driver to each cart which are numbered and make that staff member responsible for the cart throughout the event period (where possible of course). We strongly advise that you check your insurance to make sure the hire of carts is covered.
Flat Tyres
A common repair is a flat tyre. These can be easily repaired at a local tyre shop. But we know how busy you are trying to run the event, or in your daily jobs, so for ease and efficiency we recommend you hire spare tyres with your booking. These of course will be collected when we collect the carts at the end of your hire period. If we need to repair tyres, we will send you a small invoice after the event.
